The request from the steel manufacturer was to mix four types of liquids to apply a coating agent on the surface of electrical steel sheets and supply it to a roll coater. However, each liquid was transferred to a tank using a hydraulic diaphragm pump, and after stirring and mixing, it was supplied to the roll coater. As a result, there were issues such as "variations in concentration due to uneven stirring in the tank" and "the operator had to constantly monitor the concentration in the stirring tank and manually adjust the four pumps."
